Common questions
Are the free walking tours in Seville really free?
They have no fixed price: free walking tours in Seville run on tips, which you pay to the guide at the end. GuruWalk lists tours of the historic centre, Santa Cruz and Triana that start in the morning and afternoon, and FreeWalkingTourSeville starts from Plaza Nueva at 09:00 and 11:00 in English. Book a place first: both ask for it.
How much is a paid walking tour in Seville?
€19 for a 2-hour private or shared must-see walk, €22.50 for a 2-hour walk in a group of up to 10 and €14 for a 2-hour walk through Triana. A tour with the Alcázar ticket included is from €37.50. These are GetYourGuide's lowest 'from' prices for one adult.
Do Seville walking tours go inside the Alcázar and the Cathedral?
The city walks stay outside: the €22.50 walk sees the Cathedral, the Alcázar and the Torre del Oro from the street and does not include entry to any site. The tours that go inside list the tickets in the price: the Alcázar from €37.50, the Cathedral and Giralda from €36, and the Alcázar, Cathedral and Giralda together from €53.40.
Can a walking tour go inside the Cathedral on a Sunday morning?
No. The Cathedral opens at 14:30 on Sundays, so a tour that goes inside runs in the afternoon. Check the start time on the listing before booking a Sunday.
Are walking tours included in the Seville river cruise ticket?
Yes, on the cruise operator's own ticket. Cruceros Torre del Oro's €18 ticket includes guided walks of Santa Cruz at 11:30 and of Triana at 13:00, each limited to 30 people on a first-come basis.
