💡 The Short Version: The Feria de Abril 2027 opens at midnight between Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 April and ends with fireworks on Sunday 18 April. Wednesday 14 April is a local holiday. It is held at the Real de la Feria in Los Remedios, where most of the 1,052 casetas are private: about 16 public casetas admit anyone, and the city’s tourist caseta takes table bookings for a prepaid menu. Rooms in the centre sell out, so book as soon as your dates are fixed. Or book a tapas tour: the Seville Tapas Crawlad is from €68.82 for 3 hours.
⚠️ Private casetas. Most casetas are for members and their guests, and a stranger is not let in. Go to a public caseta, or book a table in the tourist caseta.
The dates
The Feria comes about two weeks after Easter, so its dates move with Holy Week. In 2027 Easter is early, on 28 March, and the Feria is early too.

The fairground
The Real de la Feria is a temporary town in Los Remedios, covering 450,000 square metres with 1,052 casetas, according to Visita Sevilla. The streets are named after bullfighters and covered in albero, the yellow soil of Alcalá de Guadaíra, and lit with paper lanterns (farolillos). The gateway is rebuilt each year as a monument. The amusement street, Calle del Infierno, is at the far end from the main gateway. Visita Sevilla has two information points inside the Real, one a kiosk at the main gateway on Calle Antonio Bienvenida. The fairground is extended for 2027, so some casetas move.

Getting into a caseta
A caseta is a small tent-house with tables, a bar and a dance floor, owned by a family, a group of friends, a club, a firm, a trade union or a party. Visita Sevilla says many are private, with public ones open to visitors and Sevillanos.

- Private casetas. Open to members and their guests.
- Public casetas. ABC counted about 16 in 2026, 1.5% of the total, generally open 12:00 to 03:00. The council’s district casetas share one price list, and the trade unions’ and parties’ casetas admit anyone. In 2026 they included the Caseta Municipal (Calle Pepe Luis Vázquez 53 to 57), and the casetas of the districts of Triana–Los Remedios (Calle Pascual Márquez 153 to 157), Este–Alcosa–Torreblanca (Pascual Márquez 215 to 219), Macarena Norte, Nervión–San Pablo–Santa Justa (Calle Costillares 22 to 26) and Sur–Bellavista (Calle Ignacio Sánchez Mejías 61 to 65). The extension of the fairground changes the 2027 positions (ABC Sevilla).
- The tourist caseta. Run by the city’s tourism board at Calle Pascual Márquez 225 to 229, with an indoor room and a terrace, live sevillanas and rumbas, and tables that must be booked in advance. In 2026 the tables were set menus paid in advance, and at lunch (14:00 to 17:00) and dinner (20:00 to 23:00) entry was only with a booking (Andalucia.com). Bookings are made at the tourist offices or the information point at the gateway.
- A guided tour. A one-hour guided tour of the Real, in English, Spanish, French, Italian or Portuguese, cost €16 in 2026 and starts at the information kiosk at the gateway.
What to eat, drink and wear
The Feria’s opening dish is pescaíto frito, fried fish, on the Monday night. The wine is manzanilla, with fino, and the long drink is rebujito, fino or manzanilla with lemonade. The casetas serve tapas, Iberian ham, tortillas and fresh seafood. The traje de flamenca became established after the 1929 Exhibition, and the sevillanas, danced in pairs, run all week. The fried fish and the bars are in Seville tapas and where to eat in Seville.

Getting there
In 2026 Tussam ran a dedicated Prado to Feria shuttle, with 15,080 trips and 1.66 million seats in each direction, and re-routed lines C1, C2, 5, 6 and 41 (El Mira). Visita Sevilla calls the bus one of the best ways to reach the Real, and a new pedestrian access links Calle Pepe Luis Vázquez with Avenida Juan Pablo II, nearer the taxis and buses. Traffic cuts affect the centre during the Feria: see Seville public transport.
