The walk covers about 3 km with downhill streets and steps, outdoors in all weather. A Spanish tour runs with a reservation (portowalkers.pt).

For transport between sights, Porto public transport has the Metro and bus tickets and the historic trams are a ride in their own right. Livraria Lello tickets, the Torre dos Clérigos and Palácio da Bolsa each need a booking of their own, and Porto in 2 days shows where a walking tour fits.
