💡 The Short Version: Seven Lisbon hotels say on their own sites that their pool is on the roof: EPIC SANA Lisboa, HF Fénix Music, Lumen, Altis Belém, JAM, Jupiter Lisboa and Lux Lisboa Park. Lumen shuts its rooftop from 1 November to 30 April; Lux Lisboa Park heats its outdoor pool all year; JAM’s pool is open 08:00 to 19:00 and HF Fénix Music’s 09:00 to 19:00. Most of these pools are for guests only. Two more hotels have a pool on a terrace or with a view, and four have an outdoor pool at ground level. HF Fénix Music

A hotel of 109 rooms on Praça Marquês de Pombal. The pool is on the 8th floor, next to the Onair rooftop bar, with views of Parque Eduardo VII, the castle and the Tagus. The pool is open every day from 09:00 to 19:00, and the hotel says the rooftop opens whenever the weather allows. The bar is open to the public from 19:00 and is seasonal.
EPIC SANA Lisboa

In Amoreiras, west of Marquês de Pombal; the hotel’s own site puts Marquês de Pombal Metro 700 m away. The infinity pool is on the roof, looking over the river, with exclusive access for guests, and the UpScale bar is beside it. There is also a heated indoor pool in the spa.
Lux Lisboa Park

The rooftop has a gym, a heated outdoor pool, a jacuzzi and a bar, on what the hotel calls its Infinity Terrace. The hotel says the outdoor pool is heated all year, so this is the rooftop pool to book for a winter stay. By its own reckoning the hotel is 10 minutes from Marquês de Pombal.

Campo Pequeno Metro is 0.2 km away by the hotel’s own reckoning.
JAM Hotel Lisbon

A carbon-neutral former warehouse on the river, on the Santos side of Cais do Sodré. The rooftop pool is open 08:00 to 19:00, and the Cabana rooftop bar 10:00 to midnight. After 19:00 the rooftop terrace is for guests aged 16 and over, and pets are not allowed in the hotel, restaurant or rooftop bar.

Before you book
- Ask about months. HF Fénix Music, JAM, Jupiter Lisboa, Lumen and Lux Lisboa Park give their pool’s hours or months on their own sites. For EPIC SANA Lisboa and Marquês, Altis Belém and Verride, ask the hotel which months the pool is open before you book for it.
- Most pools are for guests only. EPIC SANA Lisboa, EPIC SANA Marquês, Jupiter Lisboa and Altis Belém’s outdoor pool are for guests. The two ways in without a room are Altis Belém’s indoor pool, with a spa treatment, and the Palácio do Governador spa at €35 or €45.
- For a winter stay, the pools to book for are Lux Lisboa Park’s heated outdoor pool, and the indoor pools at Pousada de Lisboa and Olissippo Lapa Palace. Best time to visit Lisbon gives the highs and the rain month by month, to set against these months.
- The tourist tax is extra: Lisbon charges each guest €4 a night for up to 7 nights, from the age of 13, paid at the hotel (Deco Proteste, 1 October 2026).
