💡 The Short Version: By day the Vasari Corridor is part of a combined Uffizi ticket at €47 booked (€43 on the day), and the Corridor slot must be at least two hours after your Uffizi slot. On Friday evenings from 3 July to 20 November 2026 a Corridor-only ticket is €24 (€20 on the day), and it does not let you visit the Uffizi. The Corridor is one way, about 45 minutes by day, ending in the Boboli Gardens. The Uffizi’s staff accompany the group but do not guide. No backpacks or large bags. Book at tickets.uffizi.it. Or book: the Uffizi small-group tour with Vasari Corridor access as an optionad is from €44.30.
The tickets, compared
Prices are the adult rate from the Uffizi Galleries’ Vasari Corridor page and Friday evening page. Search results for the Corridor include sites with its name in their web address that say on their own pages they are independent sellers.
| Ticket | Booked before the day | Bought on the day | What it covers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Uffizi and Vasari Corridor | €47 | €43 | The gallery, then the Corridor. Reduced €2 for eligible visitors |

- The Corridor adds €18 to the Uffizi. The combined ticket is €47 against €29, or €43 against €25, for the gallery alone.
- Reduced and free tickets follow the Uffizi’s rules: €2 for EU citizens aged 18 to 25, and free under 18. See Uffizi tickets.
- Every ticket is named, with mandatory reservation, and non-refundable.
Day or Friday evening
- By day, plan a morning in the Uffizi. Your Corridor slot is at least two hours after your gallery slot, because the Corridor is one way and you cannot return to the Uffizi. With a shorter gap you sign a form at the entrance accepting less time in the gallery, and the supplement cannot be booked earlier than 30 minutes after the gallery slot.
- In the evening you see only the Corridor. The Friday ticket takes you through some Uffizi rooms but does not allow a visit to the gallery.
- The first group of the day enters at 10:15, Tuesday to Sunday, and the last leaves at 16:45.
- Friday groups start at 19:00, 19:20, 19:40, 20:00, 20:20, 20:40, 21:00, 21:20 and 21:50, to 20 November 2026.
- The Corridor is closed on Mondays, like the Uffizi. On free Sundays it is open only to visitors who reserve online, at no extra cost.

What to expect
Giorgio Vasari built the Corridor in 1565 so that the Medici could go between Palazzo Vecchio and the Pitti Palace without risk. It was closed in 2016 for safety works and reopened with its own ticket. You enter at the meeting point in Room D19, the Venetian small chapel on the first floor of the Uffizi, cross the Ponte Vecchio and leave through a door by the Buontalenti Grotto in the Boboli Gardens. Groups of 25 go with two Uffizi staff.

- The meeting point. Be at Room D19 five minutes before your slot (ten minutes for the Friday evening openings, whose meeting point is the entrance in Piazzale degli Uffizi next to the Loggia dei Lanzi). A group that has set off does not wait. Tickets are checked twice, and for the evening ticket against photo ID.
- The walk. About 45 minutes by day and 35 in the evening. You cannot linger, and photographs are allowed without professional equipment, but not video.
- The exit. Staff take the group straight to the Ammannati Courtyard in the Pitti Palace, where there is a café and toilets. If you hold a ticket for the Boboli Gardens or the Pitti museums you can carry on. On Friday evenings the exit is the Rondò di Bacco gate onto Piazza Pitti.

What to skip: the Friday evening ticket, if what you want is art. It does not include the gallery. Boboli on the same day: the Uffizi does not sell a Boboli ticket in the same purchase if you would leave the Corridor less than 1.5 hours before the gardens close, which is 16:30 in November.
Rules and practical information
- Bags: suitcases, backpacks, rucksacks and large umbrellas are not allowed, and a visitor who arrives with them is not admitted or refunded. Small umbrellas that fit in a pocket or handbag are allowed. Keep your coat and essentials with you, since you finish at the Pitti Palace.
- Cloakroom items: to collect anything left at the Uffizi, walk back from Piazza Pitti down Via Guicciardini and across the Ponte Vecchio to Piazzale degli Uffizi. Audio guides must be returned before you enter.
- Limit: no more than 5 tickets in one purchase.
- Wheelchairs: the Corridor can be visited with a wheelchair up to 230 kg in total weight or 120 cm long. The Uffizi lends wheelchairs and walkers at Door 1.
- Closed: on Mondays, 1 January and 25 December, as the Uffizi is.
The Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens are where the Corridor ends, and the Duomo and the Accademia are the other bookings to make. Firenze Card: is it worth it? says whether the Corridor supplement changes the sums. What to book before you go to Florence has the closed days, and Florence in one or two days places the Friday evening. To stay near the Oltrarno, see where to stay in Florence.
Common questions
How much is a Vasari Corridor ticket?
By day the combined Uffizi and Vasari Corridor ticket is €47 booked before the day and €43 on the day. On Friday evenings from 3 July to 20 November 2026 a Corridor-only ticket is €24 booked and €20 on the day. Holders of a PassePartout or Firenze Card pay a €20 supplement for each Corridor visit.
Do I need to book the Vasari Corridor?
Yes. A reservation and a time slot are required for every visitor, and there are no more than 5 tickets in one purchase. You need to be at the meeting point in Room D19 of the Uffizi 5 minutes before your slot, or you lose it.
How long is the gap between the Uffizi and the Vasari Corridor?
The Corridor slot must be at least 2 hours after your Uffizi slot, so that you can see the gallery first. A shorter gap means signing a form at the entrance accepting less time in the gallery, and the Corridor slot can never be earlier than 30 minutes after it.
Can I walk back through the Vasari Corridor?
No. It is one way, from the Uffizi to the Pitti Palace, and you leave through a door by the Buontalenti Grotto in the Boboli Gardens. The Uffizi staff who accompany the group do not give guided tours.
Does the Friday evening ticket include the Uffizi?
No. The ticket admits you to the Corridor only and passes through some Uffizi rooms without letting you visit the gallery. Evening groups leave every 20 minutes from 19:00, and the last admission is at 21:50.
Can I take a bag into the Vasari Corridor?
Only a small one. Suitcases, backpacks, rucksacks and large umbrellas are not allowed, and visitors who arrive with them are not admitted or refunded. Return audio guides before you enter.
