In this guide
💡 The Short Version: Berlin’s only three-Michelin-star restaurant is Rutz; CODA, FACIL, Horváth and Tim Raue hold two stars, and 14 restaurants hold one. The places named by the most of the 85 publishers counted are Markthalle Neun (21 sources), Tim Raue and Cookies Cream (16 each), Konnopke’s Imbiss (14) and Nobelhart & Schmutzig and Horváth (13 each). Konnopke’s is closed on Sunday and Monday, Markthalle Neun’s hall on Sunday, and pars closes at the end of 2026. Or book a tour: the Berlin: Mitte Culinary Food Tourad is from €44.10 for 3 hours.
📊 The evidence behind this guide. Nothing here is ranked on one visit. This pass read 480 list pages, and counts the 259 from 85 English-language and German-language publishers, 43 and 42: newspapers and magazines (Time Out, Condé Nast Traveler and Traveller, The Infatuation, Eater, The Telegraph, tipBerlin, Mit Vergnügen, QIEZ, Tagesspiegel, Berliner Zeitung, Berliner Morgenpost, Falstaff, Der Feinschmecker, Vogue Germany), food and travel writers and blogs in both languages. Berlin-only sites without a named newsroom (43 sites, 221 pages) and listing sites such as Tripadvisor are not counted. Counts are publishers, not pages, and the English and German counts are shown apart. The starred restaurants are named mostly by German publishers, many of whom run Michelin round-ups. The Michelin Guide’s awards are printed beside the places they name. How the guides are made
⚠️ Check the day. Konnopke’s Imbiss is closed on Sunday and Monday, and Markthalle Neun’s hall on Sunday. Nobelhart & Schmutzig opens Tuesday to Saturday, Horváth Wednesday to Saturday and Cookies Cream Tuesday to Saturday.
Michelin and the other awards
Michelin’s 2026 guide, announced on 23 June 2026, lists 75 restaurants in the city: one with three stars, four with two, 14 with one, nine Bib Gourmands and 47 Selected (Michelin Guide). Bieberbau and SKYKITCHEN lost their stars in 2026, and Chez Nassib and Salhino became Bib Gourmand restaurants. pars in Charlottenburg keeps its star on Michelin’s list but closes at the end of 2026, according to Falstaff. Michelin’s page prints no closed days, so check each restaurant’s own site.
