Opera seats for 2026/27 run from €20 for a listening-only seat to €230, and the season’s productions are dated below. The visit
The Teatro La Fenice opened on 16 May 1792, and the theatre says it has risen twice from its ashes. The visit goes through the stucco and gold of its halls with a free audio guide, and the permanent exhibition on Maria Callas’s Venetian years is included. FestFenice runs the visits.

Concerts compared
The concerts sold to visitors as “Vivaldi” are run by private ensembles, not by La Fenice. Prices are GetYourGuide’s lowest “from” prices, per person.
| Concert | From | Length | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vivaldi’s Four Seasonsad, I Musici Veneziani | €35 | 75 minutes | Voucher shown at the ticket office from 20:00 |
| Interpreti Veneziani at Palazzo Zaguriad | €32 | 1.5 hours | A 15th-century palace |
| Traveling Operaad, Dimensione Lirica | €95 | 2 hours | Palazzo Barbarigo Minotto, on the Grand Canal |
The Four Seasons is played in period costume and the listing says it is likely to sell out. The Palazzo Zaguri concert is Baroque music, and the listing says it is wheelchair accessible and likely to sell out. The Traveling Opera moves the audience through three rooms of the palazzo, one for each act, and includes a glass of wine at the interval. Cancel each up to 24 hours ahead for a full refund.
What to see
- The theatre’s halls, on the daytime visit, with the audio guide.
- The Maria Callas exhibition, included in the ticket.
- An opera, if the season matches your dates: the cheapest seats are the listening-only ones.
- A Baroque concert, for an evening without an opera.
What to skip: the Traveling Opera at €95, unless an opera in a palazzo is the evening you want. The Fenice’s own cheapest seat is €20.
Getting there
The theatre is in Campo San Fantin, near the Square. By vaporetto, line 1 stops at Rialto, Sant’Angelo, San Samuele and San Marco, and line 2 at Rialto and San Marco. What to book before you go to Venice has the closed days for every sight. Best museums in Venice and the Doge’s Palace are the daytime sights nearby, and Venice in one or two days fits an evening performance in.
