The hotel says it is the only hotel on the Main Market Square. The building is 16th-century, made from two older houses; Time Out counts 18 rooms, some with balconies over the square. The hotel lists doubles from 17 m² and twin luxury rooms of 24 to 38 m². Hotels.com lists a Polish and an Italian restaurant.
Bonerowski Palace

The hotel dates the palace to the 14th century. Time Out counts eight deluxe rooms and eight luxury apartments. The restaurant is Amalia, and there is a cocktail bar in the brick cellars. St Mary’s Basilica is two minutes’ walk, the hotel says.
Grand Hotel

Before you book
- Weekend noise. Lonely Planet says the Rynek is rowdy at weekends and advises against hotels near bars; the hotels on Sławkowska, Pijarska and Mikołajska are streets from the terraces. Ask for a courtyard room.
- Tourist tax. None in 2026. A law passed by the Sejm in September 2026, with the Senate still to vote, would let cities charge up to PLN 5 a night from 2027.
- Parking. Hotel parking is a fee. A Clean Transport Zone covers about 60% of the city, and its rules are at krakow.pl/sct. The airport train and the Old Town on foot need no car.
- Late night. Shops may not sell takeaway alcohol from 22:00 to 06:00; bars and restaurants are exempt.
