The tickets, compared

Prices are from the Museum of Kraków’s branch page, valid from 2 January 2026, at about 5.15 PLN to the pound. The museum’s ticket shop is bilety.mhk.pl. The city introduced named tickets in October 2025 to stop tickets being resold at inflated prices, and its announcement says so. Look-alike sites sell tickets for Schindler’s Factory too, and the museum accepts only a ticket it issued.

What to see

The museum is in the former administrative building of the Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik, the enamel factory that Oskar Schindler ran in Zabłocie. The permanent exhibition is “Kraków under Nazi Occupation 1939–1945”, which the museum describes as a theatrical, film and multimedia narrative of the city and the fate of its Polish and Jewish citizens.

  1. The exhibition. It follows the city through the occupation, from the German entry on 6 September 1939. The museum gives no visit length, and GetYourGuide lists the guided visit at 1.5 to 2 hours. The last entrance is 1.5 hours before closing.
  2. The Eagle Pharmacy and Pomorska Street. The same ticket covers them for 7 days. The pharmacy at Plac Bohaterów Getta 18 is the only pharmacy that worked in the ghetto, and Pomorska Street 2 is the building where the Gestapo held and interrogated people. The Podgórze ghetto guide covers both.
  3. KL Płaszów. The museum’s Memory Trail also lists the site of the former Płaszów camp, which holds an open-air exhibition.

The factory halls beside the museum house MOCAK, the Museum of Contemporary Art, at the same address, ul. Lipowa 4. Museums in Kraków covers it.

What to skip: nothing in the exhibition. The Eagle Pharmacy and Pomorska Street can wait for a second day within the 7 days. Book the museum’s English tour only if you want a guide: the exhibition is a film and multimedia narrative.
